Plot: Four best friends are about to graduate from High School. Three friends have troubled lives, and one is “perfect.” The week before graduation, the “perfect” friend tries drugs for the first time and ends up seriously injured in a car crash. While she fights for her life in a coma, the remaining three friends examine their own choices and find new priorities.
Issues: Peer pressure, driving under the influence, drug use, personal boundaries, self-esteem.
Special Elements: While writing this very personal and heart-felt story, students held a contest for the best original art work. The winner became our poster.
